I've been meaning to ask this for a while. My stock boost guage never shows +7. It goes from -7 (idle) up to just slightly over 0 at around 4 or 5 grand. Is this normal? Or is something wrong with my car. Car is stock.. Still goes well. Any suggestions?

Well, 7 on the stock GTS33 gauge equals about 13.4PSI. A stock R33 GTS-T will run at a max of 8PSI under full accel above 4500rpm (I think, correct me if I'm wrong). Your gauge should read just above mid-way. I'm pretty sure mine does.

Sorry not trying to be smart. This question does come up every month or so, and usually people dont realise that the units are x100mm mercury. :-)

But slightly above 0 is too low. Perhaps borrow an aftermarket boost gauge from someone and see what it shows? Its possible that the gauge is out of calibration and is just showing the boost to be too low. Do you notice a lack of power at all, or no difference in power coming onto boost?

I dont think that having the gauge go up to 7 means that they expect you to increase boost at all, as all gauges are designed that way. Your tacho goes way past the rev limiter for example. The oil pressure gauge goes way above any normal operating range.
