what is an early model car and what is a late model car?

is a late model car a 95 r33 skyline and a early model is a 91 r32 skyline?

early model r33 S1 1993 - 1994 medium series 1.5 1995 late model series 2 1996 - 1998

anyways not sure if that what you mean if you mean early model i would say 1989 r32 late model 2004 z tune

r32's went from july 1989 to around may 1994, they had 2 series, the transition was on aug/1990

r33's started in 1993, there was a lil overlap with r32's. the r33's had 3 series... not including an unofficial series 1.5 which had a lil of s1's and a lil s2's.

r34's came after that. I'm not that sure of any series but search th forums you might find it.

a late model means the newest model available from that particular "model".

a early model means the oldest model available from that particular "model".

e.g an early model can be any old car 1980 1990 etc and latests any new car 1998, 1999, 2004 etc.
