Boost gauge leak

Quick one....

Some little scum sucking fu(ker stole my boost gauge leaving the hose hissing in the cabin. I pugged the hose with a screw, which seemed to work initially, but last night I noticed that its been leaking a little.

Is this a problem? Does it affect anything? Will I cause any damage by not noticing a leak in future? etc

Could cause the car to run a little rich, i remember mine was playing games for a while which turned out to be a boost leak.

if its still leaking put a bigger screw in it.

Provided that richness is the only side effect I'm happy. Performance was never really altered but I've since pugged it up proper anyway.

What do you mean by 'playing games'?
