Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on what a Z32 AFM is?

I think it's an air flow meter of a 300ZX that is used on skylines when they are pumping out more kw's than what the standard one can handle.

Is the Z32 AFM still regarded as a normal air flow meter? or is it a Mass Air Pressure Sensor?

For all the guys that have these installed in their cars, would the standard PowerFC do? or do you have to buy the D-Jetro Versions? which brings me to my next question.

Just that I'm considering buying a PowerFC (standard) and hopefully going to put a turbo upgrade on later on, I dont want to have to find out and have to buy the D-jetro version later.

Any help would be great. tHanks

Steve

a z32 AFM is the Air Flow Meter from a Z32 model 300zx. Its physically larger (i think 80mm) and offeres greater resolution for tuning as well as being less of a physical restriciton. It is a normal air flow meter, and you would use the normal model of power FC, NOT the d-jetro

if you do a search on this, you will get a huge amount on information on the different kinds of air flow meters, its been covered many times before
