Factory ECU with a KS-Rom sticker

Hi

I opened up my kick panel this morning and a found a sticker on the ecu that says KS-Rom.

Now the serials on the ecu are:

line 1: 23710 04U01

2nd line: MEC-R126 1

This is a factory ECU number yeh?

Does KS-Rom modify standard ecu's or do they have complete plug in units?
