40th Anniversary Commemoration Skyline R33

Hi guys i bumped into someone advertising askyline for sale

R33 GTST-M 1998 model 40th Anniversary commemoration car

Does anyone know what extras these cars come with? Why were they made?

Don't think it had much beyond extra badging (on the seats and outer B-pillar). Late 97-98?

As above...someone on the QLD forums has one and claims it has neo parts in the engine but I think this is unconfirmed. There's some speculation on any differences but as far as most people reckon it's just minor cosmetic stuff.

I can't see them making any major changes to R33 S2 6 months before 34 GTT hit the showrooms either - what would be the point?

Tammy one of the local suncorp tellers has a 40th anniversary skyline and it seems that it has A-LSD,ABS,D/AIRBAG(is this any different to S2?) and some badges on it from the factory,nothing more.

Very nice car but I think she paid a bit much for it.

not all the cars have a-lsd unless i have seen fake ones!

the things i know they have for sure extra are the badges on the rear pillars, and the front seats have a tag on them saying 40th anniversary..

all 98 models i have seen. and yes all series 2 have dual airbags so thats not extra.

The price on the website is a 'Buy Now' price. Once the vehicle arrives in Sydney (should be within 2-3 weeks) then the price will automatically increase by $1000. Price only includes compliance.
