VL water pump a direct replacement for R33?

I've had a VL pump in my car for almost 2 years and never had a problem. Its true that 1 out of 3 bolts dont align properly, but for $127 you cant really argue.

im fitting a VL water pump which i bought from repco

my mechanic is having a problem where he says he needs new studs?

these didnt come with the pump

is this really necessary? or can u use the original studs from the old pump?

and if so where can i source these studs from?

sounds like the pullel studs for the fan clutch. if he needs new ones, the old ones would be f**ked.. and if hesa mechanic he should be able to get them

yeah i would of thought so too.

well hes gonna pull it out and have a look and then call me back

plus he isn't guaranteeing the work because its a VL waterpump going onto an rb25

part numbers are usually the same. price isnt' i have used two 'vl' ones. no probs (rb20)
