What sort of info are you after?

A couple of things come to mind. The under dash plugs are different between early and late model r32s so if you have an early model Car and a late model front cut there will be some rewiring required.

The brakes would need to be upgraded.

The DE cross member can be used. Worstcase the DE engine mounts on the DET would solve any problems.

Used your DE powersteering and AC pumps to save you having to remove them from the car, Change the bracket on the block if needed.

Gearbox and tailshaft should be alright, same lengths etc.

Does the DE have an LSD?

You will probably need to cut a couple of holes for IC piping.

Thanks for all your info just general info on how to do it and anypics if possible looking to do project in next couple of months i dont think my DE has an LSD but also looking to put an LSD on if my DE does not have one also will my gearbox be alright and also the size of clutch plate

Please all your help is greatly appreciated

GTS and GTST axles are different, so if you swap to the GTST LSD you will need the shafts from the GTST as well. The GTST uses a 5 bolt star pattern for it's shafts, I can't remember what the GTS uses but I do remember they are different. Ran into this problem on a rearend swap once before.

I'm not sure on the cluth plate sizes, I know of two different diameters, a 225mm and 240mm. I've seen both on RB20DETs and DEs. The 240mm seems to be more common and is the same diameter as the RB25DET. I 'think' (not sure mind you) that the DE used the 225 as this was the same diameter that the R31 RB20DET used. As long as you match the right flywheel with the right clutch diameter there should be no dramas, although the 225 might not hold up to a later model, more powerful RB20DET. I had one in my 89 and I could make it slip just by thinking about it.

yep, RB20de flywheel is different to RB20det, 25de, 25det,

Best to get a RB20det flywheel and a new clutch to suit.

check welsh plugs in engine, you might want to replace them now. and timing belt

otherwise everything should fall straight in hook up and start

will my GTS box b alright i aint planning to do any major dragging or andything like that until i get the money for a GTS-t box also will my non LSD diff work fine plus regarding petrol pumps will the GTS petrol pump be fine? and do u have any pics regarding doing this swap or know any one who has done this before?

Thanks again guys

do you have any info on how to mount and install the standard intercooler or would it be much easier to go straight for a bigger intercooler mounted in the front behind the bumper.????

Thanks for all your help guys greatly appreciated will keep you all posted on project.
