Put my car on the dyno the other day and it made 147rwkw on 14psi but it was spiking between 9psi and 14psi, the dyno operator said I need a better actuator to make it hold boost on the stock RB20 turbo,

What actuator should I use to make it hold 14psi all day long and not spike..

Im not looking at upgrading the turbo either......

The standard RB20DET wastegate actuator is 10psi, any boost controller (bleed valve or EBC) should be able to control 4 psi. My guess would be there is another issue, it ain't the boost controller.:)

Where are you picking up the boost signal? If it's off the back of the compressor, then that could explain the "spiking".

I used to run mine off the back of the inlet plenum.

Im still using the stock internal wastegate on the stock RB20 ceramic turbo, I was told at Bresciani Dyno Day that it was spiking and I need a aftermarket internal wastgate actuator to make it hold 14psi boost
