R32 gts-t questions

Hi guys, Ive just got a couple of quick questions regarding my '93 R32 gts-t.

Firstly, lately my hicas dash light has been staying on for a minute or so when I first start the car when it's cold, I'm guessing/hoping it just needs some fluid, but I dont actually know where the reservoir is. Anyone help me on that one? Also, what sort of fluid is recommended?

Secondly, I've got an aftermarket computer in it, is there any advantage to doing the whole 'dsiconnect the battery/press the brake pedal' thing, or is that just for standard computers?

Please help me out if you can, it would be much appreciated. Thanks

The power steering fluid is near the right strut tower behind the airbox.

What type of aftermarket computer? I'm fairly sure the disconnect / brake pedal thing only works on standard ECU's as they don't have a back up battery to keep the settings.
