I was going to suggest Big John's, but making a booking there doesn't guarantee you a seat at 7pm. You'll be lucky to be seated by 7:30pm, but more likely 8-8:30pm.

We've made a booking once, turned up on time and STILL had to wait on the street for 2 hours. Bookings don't achieve anything there, and a firm booking is quite important for a school night for some of us :)

Great food, crappy service, but I like the place... I'm up for it, but be prepared to possibly wait even if you've booked!

Great Northern!!!!!! I can roll home from there!!!! A hop, skip and a jump to my front door. But Italian @ roseville is good and i can actually attend one as i now have changed roles @ work and now work 9-5 Mon-Fri.

But yeah Great Northern is awesome........heaps & heaps of space.....plenty of sexy bar chics, pool tables, great food, and best of all BBBEEEEEEERRR!!!!

I am up there quite a few nights a week

I vote for the Great Northern as I do not want to try to drive down south for bad parking, bad service and waiting for a table.

Also most of the regulars are northsiders (or inner west) so its best to keep it fairly local.

i am easy. QUOTE]

how easy!? :(

oh moaner. I am easy, but still have standards... ie. reastaraunt must serve some type of meat and either allow BYO or serve good beer. hey wait a minute, you were still talking about food... right?

:( what else would i be talking about! :(

I'm happy to be proven wrong but I'll say it again - the reason I think so many of the regulars are *Northerns* is because we don't go anywhere south of the bridge!

cnr of pacific highway and mowbray road chatswood.

Oh my god , u serious????

i live in Artarmon!!!!thats soooooo close....i think i know this place , but where is the parking?

    • Worth most of the $50k alone!
    • So, we now have a straight and clean boot lid inbound and the car goes in for paint, again, on Wednesday, and will be ready on Friday, all ready to get cams and stuff on Monday  And by straight and clean.....I mean a brand new OEM one that cost..... $1300....馃槳 Sadly there's no clean undamaged used soft top version available, plenty for the power retractable hard top versions though, which is arse and makes Mark have the sads I could have waited longer, until a NC sort top boot lid eventually turned up, but I'm sick of waiting and said fark it and made it rain cash, meh In other naturally aspirated news, one of the guys at work brought in his old Corola which had a 4AGE in it, really nice clean car with lots of mods, including ITB's, man that things induction noise sounds sick with all of the dorts that makes you smile......maybe the NC needs ITB's, yeah, basically for the noise they make, but they're pretty expensive, but, they sound so damn good I may bring this up when I drop the car up on Monday, and by may, I mean I will馃ぃ馃馃お馃ぃ
