Hi,

Been a while since i jump on this forum, quite busy lately with

work... now that I'm shopping around for PFC tuning cost

around Melb... got a question...

Has anyone here got their PFC tuned by Chasers before?

Either by Benny or whoever else who works there...

Preferrably input from those RB owners.... but any other

car PFC result is welcome...

Thank.s

Ok, everyone has their favourite tuner.:D ... and lol everyones tuner is the best:)

The past 2 months, my car on its current tune, with between 15psi and 18psi on a completely std internal engine has done Sprints at Phillip Island, Sandown and Winton, its done a night at the drags, a day at the drifts at Calder and the engine, tune hasnt missed a beat. And its done a hell of a lot of driving with work since they now know its back on the road proper:(

And Sandown was a 36 degree morning where i was running 18psi and 234rwkws...no pinging, car ran STRONG:) Then it rained so the poor engine was having to put up with big rev spikes with wheelspin as its hero driver was trying to punt it in the wet:whackit:

And on the way to Dimboola and back on the weekend was at 440kms when i stopped at Horsham on the way back for fuel, as i wasnt sure if id make Ballarat. So highway driving id get over 500kms per tank, city it gets to about 400kms before the light comes on.:)

They are the reasons why id be going to Racepace, other may be good, but im comfortable when im at the track and temps start climbing the tune is nice and flexible and can handle hot ambient temps and 103 deg C water temps

103 degrees... pft soft mate.

I agree with Roy - I had my GTR tuned at Racepace and the car doesn't ping, is efficent (as far as it can be) and stood up well at Sandown on the same day as Roy went out... my issues were unrelated to the tune, rather the hot weather and poor cooling.

i had mine tuned at chasers. $350. the tune was ok i guess, made a bit more power. massive knock in top of 3rd 4th 5th. over 100 a lot of the times. they dont have a dyno (working yet) so they cant tune it, they just take it to protek to get it tuned and let them do the work. they also lost me keys (no big drama). i had to take it to ice peformance after that to get the knock fixed and have a retune

What's the problem?

in all honesty i do not know thats y i'm taking it there. Whenever the car creeps above .5 bar it spits and bubbles like crazy. I am guessing too wide a gap sparkies or coil packs. or knock sensor or something, hopefully not too serious. I'm praying its not too serious.

That was when Dom from Pro-Tek tuned there cars, they are now all tuned by Paul from Motec

It's not about how much time you have, it's about how much dedication you have.  Ice worked on my car till 5am on Sat morning and moved the car in at 8:30 in the morning.

And look at the results.

That is dedication...

Sorry to say david they dont put that much effort into everyones car like they do to yours...
