"pops" as in an exhaust sound... or more of a "knock" under the bonnet...

if its the latter - wind the dam bleed valve out and drop your boost before you fk your engine!!! Get your tuner to check out the bleed valve and set it the max boost they think u should safely run.

dude dont attempt boost adjustments without using a dyno!

the popping you hear is your car slowly dieing lol, it's detonating (also known as pinging)

you need to re gap your spark plugs to .8 i think on rb25?

adjusting your boost on the dyno will also reveal what your air fule ratios are like!

i recomend you set it back to stock boost

book your car in to a reputable workshop for a dyno run and boost adjustment.

it may cost around 100 but it will save you thousands if your motor goes BANG!

trust me i found out the hard way
