how to fit GTR bonnet on R34 GTT?

HI

who in sydney can fit a carbon vented bonnet designed for r34 gtr on a gtt? the bonnet will sit on the gtt okay, but i have heard the rear hinges are different. is it an easy job? what parts do i need?

Something similar to this has been asked at least three times in the last 6 months. Have a search. You can use GTT* and GTR* as search terms.

Some info.... the r34 gtr bonnet wont fit the gtt unless u change the front bumper and also quater panels!....it can be done buy cutting the r34gtr bonnet but i dont think u want to do that with carbon fibre..its a bit wider and also u have to worry about the front lip ..

thx mate, i have spoken to powerplay imports in sydney they reckon they have fitted a R34GTR bonnet to a GTT before, the bonnet is not wider so no quater panels needed, the only modification needed was to change those rear hinges(but some how they did not do it).

as for the gap between where the standard gtt bar meets the gtr bonnet, i have managed to source an "east bear" bonnet lid extension, which sort it out nicely (see pics)

but i still needed to find someone who can change these hinges.
