Is there an issue with replacing the std O2 meter with an aftermarket, fast reacting wide band O2 meter...will a PFc still be able to use the voltage signal for closed loop driving?

Mine needs replacing, and i want to use a wide band O2 meter so that i can accurately record A/Fs.

Thing is i dont know the factory O2 meters voltage range etc etc...so dont know if im dreaming or it can work.

Escaping that i suppose i could just buy both a std one and a wide band one :D

Should also mention, you can either remove the factory O2 sensor while tuning with the wideband unit/meter, then replace the sensor after the tuning with the standard sensor for closed loop fuel operation.

Or

If you wanted to run the wideband all the time, you would be best to get another bung welded into your engine pipe with a 18x1.5 thread and you could run the wideband all the time.

Most if not all Wide Band O2 are 0-5V output.

As far as i know the PowerFc is only compatible with the standard narrow band output type sensor 0-1V.

So it wouldn't work.

Well if its 0-1V and 0-5V, then how close will i go running the wide band 0-5V 02 meter , and where i splice the ECU wiring wire in a resistor so it drops the signal to 0-1V, then i can ruthe 0-5V wire to my data logger??????????
