Nothing beats experience, and attention to quality and detail :D Sounds like you've found yourself a experienced tuner/fabricator that will do the job properly!

As I said before, as long as you have someone who knows you won't accept a crappy job, and knows your power goals and requirements, you should be fine...

Thanks for all the advice guys. It's one of those things with getting someone to custom build you something, sometimes you have to go on a bit of trust, but he is 100% behind building me the best car that he can , even doing somethings for free, and so I will trust him.

I will get it flow tested nevertheless, but I would still expect the head to be the limiting factor, not the intake or exhaust manifold.

I agree and I think Merli would agree that if you get the right person to do your custom job then it can be excellent. I think his worry is using an exhuast shop that knows very little about the proper design of the manifold. There are lots of good people arond to do the job, but you need to filter them from the many more shit places who say they can do it.
