mainly HPI, but at many of the local newsagents it will come with a 2 extra mags which are usually old episodes of zoom and HPI... I bought and issue of speed also and I liked it especially their awesome photograpy which makes the photography in HPI look really amatuer. I think the content of both is excellent. Speed is a dollar cheaper also.. I can only buy one occasionly cause I'm saving for the skyline....

i have subs to HPI and Drift battle. love em  i like the pure imports, not just japanese cars in aus. although that is noice. plus HPI make decent dvds, and drift battle has oone coming out soon. i rekon hot4s and autosalon are just the 'trailer queen' cars than are never really driven. whats the friggin point?

OMG you all forgot the world's best magazine, evo

covers.jpg

We have to keep buying it so the owner can keep running the Goodwood Festival of Speed until I am a F1 driver so I can get an invite to drive there.

I have every issue of HPI and Speed and drift battle, great magainzes.

but I'd have to say that 'Hyper Rev - GTR specials' are my favourite.

Got 3 out of the 4.

Great pictures, good directory of performance parts aswell. too bad I can't read japanese and it's admn expensive.

yeah the Jap mags shame ours in a couple of ways. they are much more expensive though and I think the photography here is just as good. Just that they have a much wider pool of GTRs etc to draw from... when reading (well looking at Jap ones) I like GTR magazing, Club Skyline magazine is equally good and the 'I love skyline 32GTR one' is pretty damn good too.

over here I now like Autosalon mag, they have really picked up there game. Speed is good too and HPI was an old favourite I've had a sub to that for quite a few years. I also buy zoom and sometime motor too. point is I spend too much money on mags.

    • There are fixes for this. In industry we use compressed air for everything. It is frequently wet, and many things cannot tolerate it. So there are various forms of driers available that you can install. The simplest option for something like this would be a dessicant drier. Much cheaper to replace some silica gel than actuator cylinders.
    • That's a solid update mate, well done at WA FOS. You may already know this, but the actuators on the paddle shift are a service item and are sadly not that reliable. As I understand it they collect water from the compressor (condensation) which then rusts the bores/pistons in the actuators. A mate of mine had no end of trouble with them in one if his circuit cars, apparently it's a 'known issue'. Buy a couple of spares at great expense to ensure you never have any problems with the ones you've got! Any clues about what the new WTAC rules might be? While faster cars are cool the Pro class arms race has got to the point where you wouldn't even bother entering without a $1m budget and even then I don't think you'd win.

You can see another picture of it here: https://www.alltranz.com.au/shop/drivetrain/automatic-transmission/RE5R01A/product/9305/ The 4 speed automatic in the GTT is Nissan corporate stuff. You can search up similar jobs done on a Frontier or Pathfinder with a RE4R01B to get an idea for what the internals are going to look like and the procedure like this:
