HELP! - Squealing sound

Just wondering if anyone knows what it means when your turbo squeals really loud whenever you go onto boost? is this normal?

or is the Turbo on its way out or what?

there is very minimal shaft play... so i wouldn't think it would be dying.. :|

Its running 14psi with front mount, aftermarket ecu, 3" exhaust..

any help would be much appreciated.

loose cooler piping somewhere.

check all your connections and 99% of the time thats whats causing it.

Mine blew off 5 times just tonight

The squeal is the air just getting out through a small hole

Could also be the connection between the exhaust manifold and turbo - quite common and makes a squealing noise.

If no go with the air leaks check your bolts.

I had this problem awhile back..

I was suggested to put a abit of gasket sealant between my throttle body and plenum and this fixed the problem. (I removed the throttle body to remove my cam covers to paint)

I removed my cooler pipes to have them HPC coated put them back on and now I got the same problem again, I so cbf checking all the silicon joints and re fitting/tighting =(
