ok, a few days ago i was driving along when i heared this huge bang under my car, i thought i just hit a rock, so i just kept going . when i pulled over i cheked under the car and nothing was wrong, but once starting to drive again i realised that my bov sounded really weird.

it wasnt until the next day when i poped my hood that i realised the noise was cuased by the trumpet off my bov falling off- its the turbosmart supersonic one.

:) who the hell does that happen to hey? only friggin me

if anyone has a spare one that they wana sell then let me know, otherwise, who wants a bov?

hahahahaha ohhh geezz i suck sometimes :D

if it helps, with the trumpet its like ppppssshhhhhhh, and goes for ages and comes on just after u take the throttle off, but without its like a wwwwoossshhhhh for a shorter amount of time and it seems to cum on prematurely

still sounds ok but id either like a trumpet or to try and make it plumback

That happened to a mate of mine in his Z18ET 910 Bluebird, but the trumpet managed to get caught on something so he did loose it luckily.

The new model Type 3's (I have one) don't screw on like the older ones, so it must have been a common problem with the older ones for Turbosmart to change it.
