FOR ALL THOSE WITH MEMBERSHIP QUESTIONS YOU CAN ASK ME ON THE NIGHT OF PM ME, PLEASE DO NOT POST IN THIS THREAD - Thanks

Hi all, It is time for SAU Victoria's first Annual General Meeting or "AGM". This is your chance as a member to voice your opinion on a number of matters. If there are any issues or concerns you would like discussed this is the time to do it. It would be fantastic to you there as we currently have 130 members and it’s always nice to see you all! We the SAU Vic committee would really like to see as many of you there as possible to help make SAU Vic a bigger, better and more active club. The finical report will also be available for viewing for those interested to see how you money is spent.

There will also be time for the usual beer, food, cars talk and laughs! This is a great opportunity for those of you who don't know too many members to come down and mix.

This meeting will cover the usuall things, info on past events, pressing maters, SAU Merchandise will be available etc.

These meetings are used for the members and committee to talk about whats happening behind the scenes, to discus upcoming events etc.

It's sitting in front of me at the moment. I apologise for all delayed memberships, we have had to sort out some minor issues with stickers etc. Out new stickers look fantastic and should be delivered soon. They are in production now so packs will start flowing soon! Although members may not have packs yet they should still have access to the SAU Vic members section. Your being added now, thanks.

We would like too see every single member there if possible.

And anyone thats possibly thinking about joining and might like to ask questions or anything

If issues are raised that night, and possibly voted upon... it's just a case of bad luck if a decision

Other things like budget and stuff will be discussed in addition to the normal stuff that a General Meeting would contain.

Hi Adzmax,

No probs, I just wanted to make sure it didn't end up in the great Aussie Post black hole, heh. The stickers sound great too.

I'll check out the members section asap. I'll be at the meeting for sure.

    • Hi there, after a quick google search I found this topic as I am also relocating the battery to the boot of my 1998 GTT. I was just wondering how you got on with installing the re-routing and specifically the installing of the harness protectors? How do they attach? Are they just a simple "click-in" affair, or do they attach with bolts? Does the GTT have all the necessary fixing holes for them, for example, where they locate on the chassis? Any help you can provide would greatly appreciated.
    • Thanks mate, yeah I've heard that alot and i am definitely regretting using the 25 Loom now, i have gone through and traced all the plugs from the 20loom and re wired them into the 25 loom, I have currently got Crank, Fuel and accessory's working, just need to finalise the loom and run the wire for the Ignition (Spark) and it should be running, will update if i have any luck.
    • Cheers lad, when I head over there I'll give it a shot.
    • Stock less likely to carry one like that than urethane, but still can, especially if the bolts are not as tight as they should be. If it's making that much noise you should be able to use a hose as a stethoscope> stick one end in your ear, crouch down and wave it around the various possible noise makers and get someone to lift the front end at the guard lip.
    • Broken actuator rod. Could be one of a couple of them broken. Or, it's locked and the central locking actuator is broken/stuck or the actuator rods between it, the lock and the key barrel are jammed or broken similarly. You'll probably need a locksmith/mechanic who is experienced with using slim tools to reach down next to the window glass to manipulate the mechanism. That's assuming that it is not so severely jammed/broken that nothing useful will move.
