Hi Guys,

I have a friend who is building a project car. He needs two doors and a boot sandblasted so they can be sprayed later on. Have any of you guys done any of this before, if so how much did it cost for you? The doors have been stripped and don't have anything attached to them so theres no labour involved in pulling them apart or removing stuff from them. Just blast away!

Thanks

you have to be so very careful with who you get to do the blasting as if they use a grit that is too harsh you will wish that you had nevr done it... it will not cost, much over here it would cost you no more than $100 but again go to smeone who can do a good job your local spraypainter should be able to recommend someone

dont do it if you are after a quality finish. It can stretch the metal and its next to impossible to get all the grit out from the seams and inner panels.

Its quick and cheap, but not the thing for a show car. If the car is a daily driver and you are on a budget it may be OK.
