ok the thing is R34 n1s came ball bearing and in two formats.. 0.42 front and 0.6 front.. the early model 34n1s came with the 0.42 front and the later ones with 0.6 front someone confirm that please.. 32n1s are rated higher then 33n1s and have a 0.42 front compared to a 0.6 front on a 33n1... Plus GTSS have 0.42 front.. so i guess the 0.42 front 34n1s would be great for quick spooling and the 0.6 more top end?? hope this makes sense!

Chris.

These are a couple of compressor maps published in Zoom a while back purporting to be from an R33 N1 & a "group A" (whatever that is in relation to turbochargers).

The A/R for the respective compressors are 0.42 & 0.6 for the group A unit.

For the turbines it is 0.48 & 0.64.

You can see from the maps that they are markedly different.

Can anyone make sense of this lot in particular the following:

Is the "Group A" turbo the 0.6 A/R N1 unit?

Does anyone have any other compressor maps that might helpmake sense of all this - particularly the Garrett equivalents & the stock turbos?

']so what sort of power do the GT2560R's make? I have heard from 280hp to 350hp. One post someone mentioned Garrett saying 400hp each!! Anyone know the answer?

well mine are making 530rwhp at 20 psi on ulimate 98 (so i guess that must be close to 680 flywheel hp) someone else might be able to better estimate rwhp to bhp in a r33 gtr

hope it helps
