Ghost Switch any good?

hey guys i came across that ghost switch for the ps2slim with that magic switch disc V3.6 that lets you play backups and ntsc games. has any one used this and does it work?? it says you dont void your warranty but to install it you have to open the box and hack some plastic stuff out which im sure is bloody noticable.

anyone got feedback on this?? also read that instead of booting up from the disc you can make it boot up from the mem card.

Opening is voiding warranty and Sony will notice. With the Slim PS2s u need to install a resistor or something to some controller so u dont burn out the laser reading copied games, so your better off getting it chipped.
