I want to know if anyone has fit a screamer pipe to there rb20 stock turbo,

Reply if you got pics or any kind of information as to where it was fabricated/cost and if it sounds any different due to it being a stock turbo with internal wastegate....

i didnt think you could fit a screamer pipe unless you had an external wastegate?

nah you can, like mafia said you just have to get a dump made up that has a divorced wastegate pipe and exhaust dump pipe...

but trying to see if anyone has done this on there stock turbo'd rb20

Of course!

Sorry man, wasnt busting balls, just didnt think it was work it unless you had an aftermarket turbo and all rest. If i could be bothed id do the same and let it "scream" to the atmosphere, no way would i plumb that bitch back in! (for track use of course! :P )

1) it should sound no different on idle

2) as stated, you dont need an EXT gate to have one

3) if you have ever heard one on a stock turb... you'd wet you pants laughing as its possibly one of the most retarded things i have heard. Sounds like an exhaust leak.

My opinion, geta big turbo, and a big gate and then get a screamer

dont be an imitator.

With the stock turbo it would make the car look a little like a crapper as it farted off down the road slooowly. :)

If it really got up and boogied then its a different story. :P
