Ive got a spare rx7 turbs in a bored out gtst housing, and was wondering if its worth chucking it on my gtst. physically the exhaust wheel is far larger, and the a/r's are higher , but its not a massive turbo as such..

would it provide good or decent gains .. also, does anyone know if these turbos are steel wheeled, or how do i find out?

cheers!

go put a T04e- V- trim front wheel in it, or you could fit a .60 To4 comp

cover and fit a 58mm - H trim front wheel. Good for around 240rwkw.

Bit laggy on a RB20, comes on strong 4-4500rpm with the bigger .81 VG30 exhaust housing so the one you have would be nice , go see BIll at ATS

JMS did something similar a few years ago and got about 180rwkw i think which isn't a hell of a lot really, especially considering an RB25 turbo is capable of that with less lag and less boost.

As S3_Girl has said a T04 front wheel fill give you bit more to work with but i think the RB20 front housing may be a bit small to fit a big wheel in.
