Whats this plug for????

Hey guys was starting to install my new boost controler tonight and noticed this plug wired into my ecu wiring loom and it was all wraped up in tape. I figure i must be for some sort of piggy back computer or something, so i was just wondering if anyone has seen one before and knows what it is for.

seen it heaps...its nissan...but unsure what its purpose is...leave it with me and ill look at my wiring diagram

cool thanx stace - paul was all wreped up neatly but its been spliced into the loom have not yet worked out what wires it conects to except i know it does conect to the knock sensors.

Its a factory plug, all RB25 cars have them.

Maybe its for the Auto models, do the auto have the transmission control built into the ecu or is it an external unit?

Did you unwrap the black tape and plastic, because it isn't exposed, it all wrapped up and could be hidden in that respect.
