Hey guys,

Auto,

Unopened motor,

480cc Nismo injectors,

biggish fmic,

biggish fuel pump,

GCG high flow turbo,

full exhaust including split dump.

I saw 234rwkw the other day with some tuning issues still to be sorted and this was at under 13 psi.

I want to run 1 to 1.1 bar but tuner is telling me to get a thicker head gasket.

Do I need it?

Nice work... I'm looking at similar mods for my Neo6 auto Stagea.

Question for a "learner" in the tuning world - please explain what is meant by an "unopened motor"?

This is a motor that doesnt have any internally upgraded/aftermarket or revamped/new parts installed in the engine.

Every part is like it was when it came from the showroom floor etc...

Nope, pinging mid range rpm. I think I will just tell them I 'm going to wind it up and see what comes out.

What are you using to tune it?

Be carefull, mid range detonation is VERY dangerous, should be avoided at all costs. Too much ignition advance is the usual suspect. And that is hard to overcome with an SAFC (or DFA) without sacrificing (running rich) on the the A/F ratios.
