Hello peoples i need to do a bottom end rebuild on my motor broken piston and i am just after some advice, tride a search but didnt help much. This is what i am thinking about at the monement.

Block cleaned and honed.

Crank balanced.

RB26 rods.

Nissan mains.

Nissmo big ends.

Piston? ( i need help with).

Match the rods to the big ends and crank with the right clearences(anybody know of these clearences)

R33GTR oil pump with a jun adaptor(dose this sound right)

R33GTR water pump( do i need any adaptors with this)

And maby a metal head gasket(what are the standard ones good for)

This is a long term project, the rest of the car is fairly standard but i would like in the future to have a lot more power, so i need to do just the bottom end for now to get the car back on the road any advice would be good.

I highly doubt a search gave nothing.

This have been covered with a hell of a lot of detail

basically, mine

Arias 87mm pistons

Prepped GTR rods

N1 oil/water pumps

Usual bottom end balancing and prepping

and thats it.

Had a topic on my rebuild to couple of weeks back

Mahle psiton

Mahle bearings

shot peened rb25rods

n the usual

plus bitta head work
