My skyline is depressing me.. I'm getting so sick of it sometimes I wish I could bring myself to get rid of it..

I just spent a bit on fixing some damage and fitting a drift wing, the stupid drift wing doesn't fit on the car properly but im happy to have the damage fixed..

The panel beater turned off my turbo timer while it was at his shop and now I can't get it working again, it turns on but it won't get into count down mode.

The stupid thing is letting go of some off rabbit sqeeling sound when on boost and I can't figure out what's wrong with it.

I can't but feel like I want to bang my head against a wall and get rid of this dam car that I can't help but spend my hard earned dollars on...

Thanks for listening, just had to get that off my chest.

Man i feel what your saying sometimes they can be real pains in the arse. Times when it seems nothing goes your way. It's almost as if the car is trying to make your life difficult.

Whatever mod your doing. It's never an easy job there's always some drama to cause a headache...

I felt the same way about my old WRX. So I got rid of it. I felt the same way about my GTR too. It was reliable but I just felt there was more to cars than just that... Now I have my MR2. Yeah I like it now, but I'll get bored of it sooner or later. Then I'll get rid of that. I'm such a car s|ut... :)

You only get sick of it because use it as a daily driver (I bet) Go buy a shita and drive that through the week and on weekends drive you good car. Thats what I do and you really appreciate your car then.

Your right,

i start thinking im over my car sometimes but all i have to do is spend a little time away from her (holidays or when shes getting rapaired or when i borrow someonelses car) and the moment i get back in the drivers seat all my love is restored!

but the love soon fades as i start taking her for granted again.

Not all is bad.. I was at chapel street last night on the way home from having dinner with friends and I got looks which turned into a smile by some nice lookin bird..

It's things like that that make u not wanna sell it

:D

hey dude i feel your pain, and i'm sure 80% of the ppl on these forums do too...

we go thru ups and downs, cars are just like girlfriends....

up and down, this 'n' that - they cost us heaps and give us headaches, but when they do work, and work well, f*ck, they put a smile on our faces don't they?

cheer up, it ain't all bad

Keep the $2k in your pocket and take it to a trackday. They are 10x more fun on the track than they are on a public road.

That's when the -real- mod addiction starts because you realise their is about another $10k to spend when you thought you were finished :P

my mates uncle up in coburg (newlands road) has got a small panel shop - Ekinci Panels.

$2500 and he'll have your car looking better than showroom. Its a bit up there in the price but he does a hell of a good job.

My missus had her car done there and it came out brand new. Let me know if you still want it done.
