Brake Master Cylinder Stopper

OK people....speaking of the clutch master cylinder flexing....today the clutch hanger snapped the spot welds. The two bolts that poke through the firewall, if you look inside the car there is a bracket the clutch pedal hangs off with the studs for the master cylinder going through the wall... It popped the spot weld(s) on the left hand side of the bracket.

It now needs to be taken out and reinforced then put back in. It leaves me worried what will brake next when i put it back. Time to make the clutch stopper....

(ive got a OS twin plate clutch so its by no means a heavy pedal either:))

I feel your pain ... this has happend to me about 4 times.

I kept strengthening new pedal boxes.

Then the actual firewall ripped where the top of the pedal box attaches to the bulkhead. I had to get it welded up. Not fun !!!

Im hoping to make a reinforced pedal box, and reinforce the firewall with a stopper, because i can see this will be the next thing to break (as you have found out)

So does anyone make these things for a31 cefiros? Or does the R32 or S13 unit fit?
