spring compressors

after attempting to raise my car a tad, it seems that i need to compress the springs on my suspension a little bit so i can move the 2 nuts up... and i dont really want to pay the $170 i saw spring compressors for in repco the other day..

so if anyone can suggest a substanially cheaper place to get some in the next day or 2, or can lend me some for a couple of days, it would be greatly appreciated.

Some Auto parts stores hire out tools and equipment. If you're north of the river try Odin Autos in Balcatta. If your not.......... :confused:
