Whats the go guys, SAU is having its own drag day but I don't see your names on the entry list??? CLICK HERE there's more SAU track day names then drag race names the least you can do is support a day like this

MIK even invite some of your mates from BEL or other cars from their workshop I'm sure any help will be appreciated :P

Brett

Spots have to be filled by this time next month at the latest as SAU-NSW has to pay $8k+ up front to have this day and if the spots aren't filled there will be no drag day because of the amount of $$ and the event will be cancelled

I'm not too sure...I'm very busy at the moment and I will have just come back from Europe.

To be honest, I think $220 is a bit expensive too. I know I will get heaps of runs, but I everytime I have ever been on a weds night, I get more than enough to keep me happy. After 5 or 6 runs, I get a bit bored with it.

I would love to be there but i don't have the 33 anymore , sold it in March .

The 34 is still bog stock ( just catback ) , i ran 12.8 wed the 2nd .

I have the stuff ready to go on but last wed some lowlife assholes desided they wanted my car , they broke in to it did some damage and i have to fix it before i consider doing any mods .

I know its a long way to the meet but r34 gtr parts are not that easy to come by so i can't commit .

I can't wait.  This is another in a long line of opportunities to put the talkers in their place ;)

speaking of talkers being put in their place.......

p1ss funny hahahahhehehee!!!

check out the arm resting on the window sill......very casual indeed!

Pink paint and streamers count as two power adders though Doughie.  You're not eligible.

:D

Adrian

Painting the bike matt black for that tough as nail bogan look, but still keeping the streamers. Have got some spokey dokeys on order though, should be good for a couple of MPH at the 60 foot mark.

    • $170K. I asked one of the guys there as a joke if that price was just for the passenger seat as it was where the price sheet was... he tried really hard to crack a smile 😄 He also mentioned that every single part of the car was inspected and either restored or replaced with a new or as new part, or made from scratch. The interior was incredible, every inch like a new car.
    • Time for a modernisation, throw out the AFM, stock O2s, ECU into the e-waste bin. Rip out the cable throttle, IACV, pedal, etc. into the scrap metal bin. DBW, e-throttle, modern ECU, CANbus wideband, and the thing will drive better than when it left the factory.
    • I agree, don't go trusting those trims. As I said, first step is to put the logger away, and do the basics in diagnosis.   I spend plenty of time with data loggers. I also spend plenty of time teaching "technicians" why they need to stop using their data loggers, and learn real diagnostics.   The amount of data logs I play with would probably blow most people away. I don't just use it to diagnose. I log raw CAN data too, as a nice chunk of my job is reverse engineering what automotive manufacturers are doing.
    • I'm aware, but unless you're actually seeing the voltage the ECU is seeing and you're able to verify the sensors are actually working I find it hard to just trust STFT/LTFT. I will say, logging the ECU comes naturally to me because it's one of the lowest effort methods of diagnosis and I do similar things in my day job all the time. Staring at 20+ charts looking for something that isn't quite right isn't for everyone. NDS1 allows you to log almost everything so that's normally what I do and then sort out the data later.
    • Silly question, as I bet you've checked already, but the motor turns over by hand yes? I suspect Neil has a spare starter, though if not, I believe I have a spare R33 (or two) starter.
