Rb25 Rods

Allmost got all my parts organised but i am having trouble getting rods cant afford the forged ones and cant get my hands on any rb26 rods. Are the standard rods if i get them shot peaned good for 250 to 300 rwkws or should i just keep looking for better ones

mate standard ones are good for 250-300rwkw. I have been running 250 for a while now with standard ones, and have mates running around 280...

yes they are ..

there good for over 330rwkw's if they are shot peaned.

OK thanks for that, do you have to replace the mains bolts and the head bolts as well. I am using ARP rod bolts but do i need these in thes other areas thanks ppls;

What was the best price you got for forged rods?

sky the best i got is 1600 plus bolts but i migth have just got onto some rb26 rods :headspin:

GTR Rods are $400, and there are plenty around.

they do seem to come in waves for some reason.

Also ask workshops. Generally after a 26 rebuild there are some lying around

They are worth thier cheap price
