should have taken pics. ill have a look next time i take my door appart:D so whats involved in getting fixed professionally??

Yep, both doors had the same problem as they both have sound deadener in the same spot.

I should have taken pics but at the time didn't think of it. I can take pics showing the area where it is, but it's all fixed now so you won't see how bad the rust was!

i'll go have a lok now, are there any threads showing how to pull the door trims off etc?

do a search / check the car stereo section

basically there's 3 screws along the bottom, one behind the handle (clip the plastic off to get to it), one under the hand hold, and the rest is all clips. in the passenger door there u have to pull the window switch out and there is a screw behind there. use a little bit of force to get the clips to pop off, but if u have to pull too hard there is probably another screw.
