Didnt mean to sound like i was having a go!!

Just a few things i was confused about thats all

You didn't offend mate sorry just real tired and cranky from the weekend.

I guess that this turbo is probaly more efficient at higher boost levels and needs to be boosted high to get the big power.

All I know is when it runs 20 psi the power difference is huge. That kick you back in the seat feeling is nuts.

why its so laggy I'm not so sure other than the fact its a normal sleeve bearing turbo from what I can gather.

Sure it wouldnt be helping, but i wouldnt attribute too much blame to the fact that its a plain bearing turbo. Have you got a part number etc so i can have a look at the spec of turbo?

What are all the details of the mods, exhaust brand diam, qty of mufflers, cat converter, air filter, piping, BOV, intercooler etc, pic of the engine bay????

It could be a support system drama more then the turbo beign too big, or laggy in its nature.

IS the turbo a T3 flange or are you using an adaptor to bolt it onto the std manifold, is it the std manifold???

LOL..sorry about all the questions, but i like mulling over these sorts of setup/problems/performance differences:)

The turbo is from UAS and has a 0.48 rear housing.

As for the front a/r I have no idea and I'm not sure about a part number. (Sorry I aint much help there).

Its a T3 flange that has an adapter plate made up to allow it to have an internal gate and to bolt onto the skyline dump.

--------------------------------------My mods include-----------------------------------

Trust BOV------------->Replaces the stock one and can be plumbed back if needed.

Blitz intercooler------> 600 by 300 by 76mm

ECU--------------------> Remapped to run 550 cc injectors and a z32 AFM(My personal tune on the conservative side)

Pipeing in the engine bay is stock and really should be replaced with bigger less restrictive pipeing.

Exaust is a 3 " turbo back system with a resonator, 3" cat, 5" ricey muffler :P

Injectors are 550cc pintop rx7 types.

AFM is a Z32.

Boch 040 intank fuel pump good for 600 hp I think.

I'll try and get some pics of the turbo and engine bay tonight if I can.
