|PRESA|
I'm thinking about taking my R33 GTS-T to Pedders next week to get the suspension set up. I have standard shocks and springs and I don't really aim to spend big bucks on this and I've heard you can get some pretty good results from standard shocks/springs for my needs. I was planning to send the car to them and tell them I want it setup for drags... Do you think they will automatically know what to do or can anyone hear inform me what I should tell them I want exactly? I have heard that the standard springs are ok for drag but the standard shocks are not. blind_elk
There's no adjustment in the stock suspension, so it would be a total waste of your money and their time to try and do anything. You will haver to change something - springs &/or shocks - to achieve any improvement. Talk to Andrew over at Traction Tyres in Rowville, he won't steer you wrong. |PRESA|
R31Nismoid - Not Alot.. under 200rwkw, if my car can't settle down with this little power i don't see a point in upgrading power. Do you think I should install Alloy bushes (pinapples) for a start? I heard they can help. R31Nismoid
a decent set of tyres will solve your problem right away. im running around with more than 200rwkw and i cant say that i have that much trouble with traction, and thats only using my 225's.
