Hi Everyone, im new to signing up here, but I have been browsing these forums for quite a while.

I was wondering if I could get some help:

My R32 (gts-t) is ideling high. (1,500rpm) plus, the car is hungrier for fuel then George W.

When i give the car a small rev, the rpm drops down to below 1, but then goes strait back up to 1,500 rpm

Also, I can smell fuel occasionally when driving, and also in the shed where it is parked.

I have checked the fuel pump, and the fuel lines, all seems fine.

Does anyone have any ideas? Some help would be greatly accepted.

Thanks.

idle screw - look at engine from drivers side - where the top part of the plenum is, just below the throttle body there is a flat-head screw. Turn that (not sure which way), but that should bring your idle either up or down. It might have been to prevent your car from stalling. I'd say change your BOV if that's the case.

Try that, but i could be wrong. Correct me if i am.
