Hey guys

Got the beast dynoed today, lovely smooth curve and the guy freaked out at how perfect the A/F ratio was!!!

Got 196.4 rwkw on 12 psi at Minutoli Service Centers Dyno dynamics dyno. (MSC performance, Resevoir). At 13 is was Detonating so we backed off. Didnt have much time tonite, but we will regap the Plugs and advance the timing a little and she should comfortablly pull around 215 rwkw on about 1 bar.

I was very happy with the result, with minimal mods, its a very good start point.

Didnt look at intake temp, he said it was running excellent and hes a fairly capable and trusted tuner. He didnt do shootout because he told me you want to find out "real road power", i was trying to convince him to spray some cool water on the cooler to try crack 200 rwkw but he said "that doesnt happen on the street."

Lol running stock injectors? U must be refering to my freinds car, Magic1 on these forums. Ill tell u wat, I dunno what it was running, but with it making over 600 rwhp (over 450 rwkw), it is the quickest and most mean sounding R33 skyline Ive ever been in. The external gate combined with that angry "worked engine" whine coming out of the exhaust - any 33 GTST owners dream.

It was on a shoot out mode, i dont know about the perfect A/F kim cos i went from 12 to 11 on the A/F chart. I dont' know much about it but isn't 11 is a bit too lean out? Be carefull man like i told u at work today, otherwise good power. Damn i miss feeling the rush on an RB25.

12.5 a/f ratio is ok.

Starionturbo

Caliming over 300rwkw with stock injectors is 1 thing and now claiming 450rwkw with a 600hp turbo just tops it off perfect. Also 215rwkw with stock turbo is BS!

Hey INASNT. Its only the ****ing internet, are you Jealous of Magic1 s car or my stock turbo? Get a life ok, I dont give a **** if my car makes 2 kw or 300 kw on shootout mode or God mode, and why question what my mates car makes when a. you have seen or been in it and b. you dont know what else the car has on it. Its not a stock engine with a big turbo slapped on you know.

If you guys are so fussed about it, why still talk about it then, I would disregard any bullshit I was told and not bring it up if It was not possible. You guys seem to keep bringing it up, maybe because he doesnt talk, just gets the figures.

Mods...

ARC fmic,ROM,Coilovers,Kakimoto HYPER N1 stainless catback +Genuine Nismo downpipe ... etc etc.

Its good power so dont see what the big drama is. Dyno readings are all over the place. If it makes 220rwkws i would be looking at the turbo to see what it is or accept the fact that you are on a top dyno:)

Yeah i know there isnt a drama, its just got 197 rwkw which is nothing out of the water. It does have a Full replacement japanese computer, thats what sets it apart from just the other RB25s with same mods and something like a SAFC.

I know it probably wont get 220 rwkw, but we were just talking about gapping the plugs, advancing timing, running some octane boost and running it breifly at 15 psi and possibly achieve 215 + rwkw.

Take a chill pill. Firstly I am hardly jelious of your stock turbo figures, as mine makes over 300rwkw, and secondly its quite interesting how the workshop in Perth that claimed all these figures suddenly closed down??? Wasent anything to do with all the customer cars they blew up was it??

If ur car make 200+rwkw with stock then I am happy for u and u may be lucky and got a 33 with a high flowed turbo.

Got the dyno graph of the run you can post up?

    • They see me rollin' they hatin'....... Took me most of the day to make the necessary mods to the mounts to make them fit the car.  Fortunately I was able to just use the mounts that came with the rotisserie. The rear ones are really secure, the front I feel i might reinforce a bit more as it doesn't seem like enough attachment to the vehicle. I'm sure it's fine but better to be safe than (extremely...) sorry.  I drilled and tapped thread into additional M12 holes to each car mount where it attaches to the rotisserie as an extra fail-safe. Without them the side to side movement is just restricted by the allen head pinch bolts, nothing actually goes though the beam. Does now! I still need to adjust the rotisserie to get the car centred in terms of centre of gravity. If it's too high or too low relative to the rotational centre line of the car, it will be like a turtle and roll onto its back or as it currently sits, I dont think I'd be able to rotate it as it sits as it needs to lift the whole car up as it rotates. Ain't happening... I'm going to be nervous as hell the first time I go to spin it on its side...
    • Oh yes done this when the window started flopping around.  Turns out the guides that run along the rail chanel had crumbed way. Took off the door card and pulled out the window mech, then the window, which you have to pull out through the top. As said unbolt the guide rail and don't spend 30 minutes getting frustrated trying to find a way to slide it out upwards cause that don't frigging work. Drop it down and out through the door hole. All I did to repair it was slice some 10mm clear plastic tube, vertically, then screw it to the guide rail both sides. This tubing rolls inward on both sides and leaves a gap wide enough to hold the window. To finish all I did was lube the plastic tube with olive oil and Bob's your uncle . . . well if he has the operation he can be your Aunt ! !  10 bucks in plastic tube and another 5 minute job done again . . . . YEH BULLSH#T ! My love for Skylines knows no bounds !
    • So was there a solution to this problem? I’m having this issue now.
    • not expensive, just irreplaceable if you don't go sub 60 at wakie in that thing people will start talking
    • I haven't replaced that, but I have had the doors apart on the r32 a couple of times The door skin will be held on by a combination of clips and bolts, just take it slowly and make sure all the sneaky hidden bolts are out Once the skin is off you should be able to pop that piece off pretty easily, looks like there are only 2 bolts holding it on
