GT Badges?

Hey guys. I recently bought an R32 GTST. Them small GT badges on the side of the car (some are blue, some are red), mine are just silver. Is it because the colour has faded or is it silver for a reason? I have heard the red ones mean it's turbo, and blue is NA or something like that. Just confused as to what mine is, unless it's faded?

I'm pretty sure the silver badges were a factory option...

You could also get them in gold from memory..
