Brazen
Hi guys Moving fast towards my V35 purchase... should only be a couple months now til the final govt decision on compliance Anyways - coz no-ones been importing them privately yet and the yards are keeping their auction prices to themselves Im finding it hard to get a good amount of sales history on the V35 coupe from auctions to give me a good indication on what's a reasonable price to pay for different spec levels. I'm not after "general" indications / opinions... Ive got that already - I'm hoping any of you that are signed up and get through sales info data from auctions can look up the past month or two of V35 coupes and copy and paste it to me by email. A guy from the silvia site sent me through a few he had... but its hard to get an accurate indication from just a few examples - I really need a month or so worth to see what different specs/kms/etc go for. This is the few I got so far - hoping people can email or PM me more of the same... dodgybrooks
gday adam, how good is ur jap? if you can read a few basics then head to a site called www.carsensor.net its a bit like the aussie trading post but has about 28thou cars in it per week. it isn't auction data but will give you a good idea of price compared to kms and options etc. there are more magazines/web sites like this but this one is a good place to start. hope it helped stephen
Brazen
Awesome - even though caryard prices, still gives me an excellent indicator of the differences various factory options, specs, kms etc make to the prices! Thanks!! But still - if anyone knows how to get hold of the auction sales data, be much appreciated!
funkymonkey
Auction history is usually only something that's reserved for our paying members, but I'll have a word with the guys at work and see if I can get you some final sale prices on CPV35's in the last month. Thatd be awesome! Any help appreciated!! Hopefully your work will make an exception... Its just that because they V35s are not a compliable vehicle (yet) no-one really has much to go by to even know what options/specs are worth at auction with these things... eg. base price auto vs base price manual vs sat/nav premium package vs leather vs low kms vs high kms etc. Wont be doing anything with the data except using it myself to work out what different specs and options I am likely to be able to afford at auction if and when comliance becomes available for them. But yeah - if you can get anything for me... [email protected] Cheers mate Adam
funkymonkey
well I built the software to database auction data (images, reports etc) and it's got data from around 2 years ago, its pretty easy to pull the numbers out, however its under license from the auction datacenter for j-spec, so I'll have to run it by them first. A small sample data should be ok though, if not I should be able to get you a summary at least. in the meantime you might wanna check out http://www.auto.vl.ru/sales/?mid=54 Nissan sales data from auctions, think it's updated weekly, but its all there.
