Window Seal not Sealing

I just replace my passenger window and have found that the seal the window rubs against ( the one that goes along the door and under the rear view mirror) is not sealing. So next time it rains my door will collect water in the bottom if it.

Has anyone got any sugestions, cos i just cant figure this one out.

i know it sounds dumb but sometimes the most obvious things we miss.

are you looking at the seal when the door is opened or closed.

If the door is open there will be a gap.

Thanx for the reply fade,

it turns out that the lugs that bolt on to the window ( the ones that stop the window from moving when fully up) were on the wrong side. Someone must have removed them to take the window out of the previous car and put them back on the wrong way round. I figured this out ofter looking at the other door.

Now it finaly work properly
