Hey guys...just wondering if anyone would know where i could get a rim repaired? LOL.....*sad look* I was pissed off at the time :boohoo: and I scrapped one of rims in civic when pulling into a parking spot :cuss: :Oops: . (Im so annoyed with my self)...The damage is not too bad, one small dent and small scratches. Cheers

You could go to quick fit they repair rims

Go to quick fit in queanbeyan - formally the wheel factory they are the only place that actually fix them, and they do awesome work!

Yeah they do take a while but if your wheel needs welding they can only do a little bit per day because other wise the welds get to hot and warp the wheel. My mate had his rims in there for about two months mabey more, but now you cant even tell they were damaged!

What sort of price range is it to repair a rim with gutter scratches? all of mine met the gutter because my tyres are too thin. also i'm a bit rough when parking because i'm used to having a kingswood still i think

I had my rims done because of the same thing and i damaged one, and for my rims with a pretty big dish was $170 a rim, that was repair and a wet cut and polish. I was really impressed with the end result! There is two kinds of cut/polish you can get, one is the wet cut and that is done in house for $170ish, the other is sent to Melbourne for a diamond tip blade cut and polish $350+ a rim = F#@K that

LOL I guess that answers my question that I was about to post....how much? Ok so I’m guessing $150/$200...Its just the one rim and the scratches are pretty minimal but there is a tiny bend from where it initially hit.
