A big thanks to everyone who posted their wishes under the 'birth' thread, they have all been given to Nat and the bubs :P Both mum and bubs are now home and they are doing very well.

Now the news everyone has been waiting for....after todays 'naming' ceremony exactly a week after the birth I can FINALLY tell everyone the name.....

The second thing you have been waiting for is a piccie.....I haven't had a chance to go thru them all and download off of my camera but here is one just after birth (excuse the um....messy bits as he hadn't been properly cleaned (they aren't THAT BAD))

um wouldn't an anagram of Zack Samuel be like "Luck Amazes"?

congrats to all involved... nissan carry a range of child seats that are optional for 350z's... i'm sure they'll go in well in the skyline :rofl:

Most of the r33's dont have the child seat anchor points.

I remember when a cop tried to canary me a few years ago and all he could come up with was that i didnt have the child seat anchor points.

Adz - LOL I know what you mean mate....I had to look twice to see whether he was flipping the bird or not!!

Nark - Where were you when we were choosing names...thats a classic! Did you see that tread a while ago showing a pic of the nissan skyline specific baby seat?? If I could get one here it would have been first on my list!

Inasnt/Funky - You are right funky it should be fitted as part of the compliance to meet ADRs. Don't know where you got that info inasnt but my 33 came with a mounting point.

Kaz - thanks for the comment we thought he was cute but parents tend to be a bit biased :mad:

As for the kiddie seat cover, put me down for one :P .....actually joking aside I was going to try get the logo on the clubs polo tops put on a kiddie top for him. As for the babysitting you might have to fight off Bec for that honour!!

SAU tops lol.. actually there was some really cute outfits at the F1 for kiddies.. ferrari racing suit, BMW tops and such things.. of course the price tags were unbelievable.... $70 tops ARGH. Sounds like he will be alot like Eva.. 4 yrs old and drifting down the straight in GT4 haha. She was driving better than me! (and a few SAU ppl too) :mad:

Bec - considering he will only be about 3 weeks old by then the chances aren't high!! Believe me I'm soooo keen to get him in the skyline for a ride its not funny (and get that motorsport blood pumping!) but will probably wait till his little neck is strong enough to cope with the G's :headspin:

      Is the A/C compressor supposed to keep kicking in and the revs go up every so often as a result? (for a r34 gtt) Mine turns on roughly every 15-20 seconds if I remember correctly. I know on my other car it doesn't seem to do that but different car I guess. I've had my car re-gassed and it still blows ice cold air after well over a year but have always had this happening.

      Hi Tao, It seems that turbine fragments entering the engine is more of a thing with the twins. The theory is that because there is much more of a straight shot from the turbine housing directly at exhaust ports, they seem to cop it where the single turbo cars don't do it so often. It is definitely something that we hear about on GTRs far far more often than the others.

      How slightly is slightly? I wonder if we have different thoughts on what slightly turning left means. I just tried this out and on mine you can turn the wheel somewhere between 45 to definitely less than 90 degrees before it cancels. Though I have to admit it feels much slighter in my memory than it is in reality. See dramatic reenactment below. VID_20250126_143110.mp4
