Hey Guys,

Sorry for the stupid questions (im just a newbie)

I have a r33 series 2 with exhaust and pod filter and carbon bonnet. (no front mount)

I want to turn the boost up.

What is a save level?

What will i gain (kw)?

Could anything go wrong?

Is there a device that is able to be controlled and monitored from the car?

Thanks in advance..

try a search for boost controllers/bleed valves, there is heaps of information out there.

read up as much as you can about all methods of altering your boost levels, but my advice would be that if you don't know what you are doing, don't touch it.

here is a couple of links to get you started -

There is heaps on the forums about this topic do a search mate.

10 to 11psi is the max I would run with the standard turbo.

You Will will notice a gain in performance but often the ECU richens the mixtures when it sees the extra boost causing the engine to overfuel which can result in flat spots thoughout the rev range. The fix's for this are gap your plugs from 1.1 to 0.8 if you still have touble after that you my need a apexi SAFC (piggy back computer for air fuel ratios) or Apexi power FC (full aftermarket ECU).

With full 3" exhaust from turbo back 10psi of boost and say an SAFC you will see around 160Kw to 175Kw ATW.
