Hey guys,

Although I import cars I havnt had much experience with Stageas, because not many dealers want them. So, as Im still searching for a Stag of my own, Im faced with the question, what is the difference between S1 and S2 Stags?

What year model are each of them? Can both be had in AWD? Do both have duel sunroofs? Power differences, performance differences? Anything would help...

Cheers,

Chris

Fantastic, I'll have a look around. How bout potential? Around similar for those engines? Im looking for around 250kw atw, which would it be easier to extract from?

Also, this pic, S1 correct? Anyone have a clue about the front bar on this car? S1 and S2 same dimensions?

Can someone give me a couple of links to websites or post a couple of pics of different Stag bodykits? I wanted to get the MASA front end but I dont have the dosh at the moment, so I was thinking of getting just a full bodykit to suit the Stag, just havnt seen any around. I like the MASA side skirts and rear bar, just would like to see some more options before I make up my mind.

Is there any Stag bodykits avalible in Australia?

Cheers,

Chris

That certainly looks like a 260rs.

Not that you can't see the inlet cross over pipe that the Rb25's have, plus you can see the top of a HKS pod filter that looks like it's pretty close to the strut tower, so I'd say it's the rear AFM/pod of a twin set up.

Or I could be right off the mark and it's got a forward facing chamber on a RB25 :)

Oh, hang on, is that a RS4 badge on the grille ??

    • Being the top Google search result for R34 wheel-related inquiries, lemme throw down my experience. I calculated that 100mm from hub face to wheel face is about the perfect fitment for my ENR34 sedan.  I've been running 18x8.5s, ET35, with a 1" spacer. So, 8.5in to mm = 216mm. 216/2 = 108mm. 108-35 = 73mm. 73+ 25 (1" to mm) = 98mm.  If you wanna get close to this on dif widths, here are the offsets you'll want: 9" - ET around 15mm 9.5" - ET around 20mm 10" - you're crazy, but ET around 30mm All these should fit perfectly on a non-widebody, non-GTR Skyline. Note that it's probably the absolute max, and you're probably better off running a couple degrees of camber in this config, but it looks great, super flush.
    • Oh yeah, always always always turn over an engine by hand first.
    • So by that logic, an insanely expensive GTR for $200k+ is quite cheap, at 12% of Sydney's median house price compared to over 50% when a GTR was new...
    • Apologies... thought i had outlined it... Cheers for the response, I'll get a nipple sorted out for this.
    • lol thanks for the pics but some arrows might have helped for context. If you mean the bit I've badly traced in red, that is a PITA vacuum signal for the power steering pump, only R34 GTT was "lucky" enough to get it. Yes you will need a nipple of the same size somewhere in the intake between the air filter and the throttle or the power steering idle up will not work correctly
