yea, the vending machines in chiba have been known to part an unsuspecting whitey from his hard earned yen. all I wanted was a 2 litre asahi, instead I was ripped 1000yen. or was it 5000yen? I can't remember, it's been repressed.

Dan, Cyrstal Autosports is in Chiba as is Top Secret. go to 7-11 buy your option/carboy/optionII and get a monorail to 'sports centre' jump off walk down the street for about 10 mins, once you see a maccas, stop in, grab a terriyaki burger, eat it, walk another 100metres, you should now be standing infront of Crystal, open your wallet and remove enough yen for the cab ride back to the airport, stash it somewhere, walk into cystral and promptly spend the rest of your yen on lots of parts, maybe save a bit if you are going to Top Secret. If you still have dosh jump a cab to Top secret, it's about 10mins by car from Crystal on the same road. shop is around the right side of the factory. now either cab back to sports centre and monorail from there or, if you have the dosh cab it back to your hotel. 1 day in chiba well spent
