reset ecu after change o2 sensor??

i just replaced my o2 sensor.. am i suppose to reset my ecu?? or do i just leave it like that?

I think so. But after a few km's the ecu should automatically know that the sensor is there. I think if you reset the ecu manually it just makes the transition faster?

Correct me if im wrong...

Was it hard to replace the o2 sensor?

had to use a hammer to knock out my old sensor.. cuz it was abit stuck in there.. rusty i guess.. but after that.. its all easy.. just plug and play i guess... well i didnt do it myself.. had my sis bf to do it cuz his a mechanic =] and how would i reset the ecu for a r34 gtt?

Unplug the negative terminal of the battery and pump the brakes a few times to release the excess charge in the car.. Leave it un plugged for like 20mins? or 30mins....

oic.. the positive terminal would be the one with the red cap on it right?
