Aftermarket bovs help

Curious as to why when u put a bov that is vent to atmosphere and not plumb back the car will almost stall after reving, and blow a bit more blck smoke.

I got told it was because it interupts the airflow meters is this true, and is there a way to fix it.

I do have a power fc can it be tuned to fix the problem..

Any help is much apreciated.

also i only had a rubber tube that i mod to block of the plumb back system, if air is getting past is this a problem..

Its a 32gtr to is that help got two greddy type rs bovs(shame they are not as loud as i was hoping)

full atmo bov's mess around with the a/f ratio's, i have a GFB Hybrid bov, just as loud as a full atmo bov but with a small percentage of air is plumbacked to prevent these problems...

Im interested to. Can the stalling/ backfire etc be tuned out on the PFC. Does anyone know?

I just had a single trust type-s (old purple ones they dont sell anymore) put on venting to atmo and it works fine, doesnt stall or anything.

I'd be looking at the way its set up. Just make sure you block up where the factory system plumbs back into the intake

actually I am having troubles occasionally with my car hunting on idle and other minor things and thought they may have been leaking, hence why I changed them and some other minor things.

Turns out they wernt, but you get that

HKS sell a piggy back unit that wires into the AFMs. It basically clamps the voltage signal from the AFM to the ECU for a fixed time (duration can be adjusted easily by a pot in the units casing)

No more stalling:)
