Power figures on turbo??

Hi,

i was wondering is a HKS GT2540 BB turbo an good upgrade for the RB20DET ?? it will have a matching HKS 2 into 1 stainless dump pipe (dont exactly know what model it is) and an S-AFC (knob version), DOES anyone know if this is a good upgrade and what power figures will it produce??

HKS Full exhaust with Super Dragger

AVCR

Custom Apexi Intake (aluminium piping)

do you think this will give good power?? and wat RPM will i expect the boost to kick in?? will there be any lag???

the 2540 is a well known mismatched turbo, try 2530 or gt-rs. search for "2540 lag" and you should find a few threads covering it. either the housing is too large or the wheel is too small or vice versa.

yeah dont go the 2540 ...stupidly made turbo. go the 2530, 2535 or if u want a bit more power go the gt-rs

Get a genuine garett GT25 (you can can choose your HP ratings up to 450hp I think)...look up horsepowerinabox.com.

This will be perfect for your application and can easily yield bt 200-250rwkw with excellent drivability.
