Nice work on doing it. I know so many people who are too scared to try this kind of stuff.

When I did it I loved it too. I think I must have had a blank spot in my memory (total fear / panic?) as the free fall bit was over so quickly. Then there was the long glide down to Earth where you're just thinking "I just jumped out of a plane!".

well i dunno, but im one of those that wouldnt try jumping outta a plane

my teacher scared me off with saying "if u jump out of a plane high enuf, and travel at a really fast speed, ur body will explode before it hits the ground," thats wat the mach speed does to ya anyways....soo...ill be fine on the ground

I think the terminal velocity is about 150 km/h. Nowhere near the mach. The air slows you down within the first couple of seconds.

I ve done it in Wollongong, over the beach. It was awesome. I was screaming "F**K YEAH, YEAH!!!! THIS IS AWESOME!!!". The scariest part for me was the ascent in the plane, it was so small, tightly packed, with a little fiberglass door.... But it was worth it.

Cool, whered you do it and how much?...

Its my birthday soon and I wanted to do it....:(

hahah i did it at Picton... 20 mins from liverpool on the Hume Hwy (m5) it on the way to canberra...

cost me $308 to do tandem....next jump (tandem) is $215 and the one after is a bit cheaper still. But if you do a course you can jump by yourself. The course is 9 stages and total costs is approx $1500( that includes 9 jumps) but you can still do your first jump by yourself with your own parachute with 2 instructors either side of you

oh and it was 14000ft when i went.

and as for the getting married bit.. umm not anytime soon.. i think anyway...
